Cookies & Storage
Website storage
Our website code does not use advertising or analytics trackers and does not write to localStorage or sessionStorage. The homepage’s pause and view controls last only while the page is open.
Contact form security cookie
The contact form uses a necessary first-party session cookie named HETC_CONTACT. It links your browser to a temporary security token that helps prevent forged submissions. It is not used for advertising or cross-site tracking and does not contain your name, email address or message.
This cookie is restricted to the contact submission endpoint and is configured with Secure, HttpOnly and SameSite=Strict protections. It has no persistent expiration date; its lifetime depends on your browser’s session handling, including any session restoration settings.
Server-side abuse prevention
To limit repeated submissions, the server temporarily records submission-attempt times and a keyed hash derived from the connecting IP address. This rate-limit record does not store the raw IP address or your message. Entries older than one hour are removed when the rate-limit file is next processed. Infrastructure providers may maintain separate connection and security logs.
Technical information and external resources
This website uses cloud hosting infrastructure and external content delivery networks (CDNs) to load graphics and interactive libraries. When accessing the website, your browser may transmit technical connection data, such as your IP address and browser details, to our infrastructure providers to support content delivery and server security. Their processing of this data is governed by their security and privacy policies.
Your controls
You can use your browser settings to inspect, block or clear cookies and stored data. Blocking the necessary contact-form cookie prevents the form from submitting. If optional tracking is introduced, this notice and any required controls will be updated before it is enabled.
